The registration spins

Code CASINOPLUS33 at sign-up gives 33 free spins with no deposit. The maximum you can cash out from them is C$80. That is the only code on the site that we saw, and it is the only no-deposit offer on our whole list with a cap printed next to it. Take the spins, see if they land, and decide about depositing after.

First deposit at 100%

Deposit one is 100% up to C$815 plus 100 free spins and 20 coins, from a minimum of C$40. Deposit C$50 and the bonus is C$50, so you play with C$100. Deposit C$200 and it is C$200 bonus, C$400 to play. Anything under C$40 goes into the account as cash with no bonus attached. Wagering is 40x the bonus: C$2,000 of turnover on a C$50 bonus, C$8,000 on a C$200 bonus.

The per-deposit split for deposits two to five was not on the pages we saw, so the table says so rather than guessing. One thing we did notice: the promotions page shows the pack total as C$3,585 while the headline says C$3,210. We flagged that in the review and it had not been fixed when we checked. To reach either number you are making five deposits of C$40 or more and clearing 40x on each bonus before the next one is worth taking.

The rules, all printed

This is where SpinMills earns credit and loses players at the same time. Welcome bonus money carries 40x wagering. Free spin winnings carry 35x, and the most the welcome spins can ever produce is C$160. Maximum bet with a bonus live is C$8. The bonus is valid for 10 days. And the maximum win from the welcome bonus is 5x the bonus amount: on a C$50 bonus that is C$250, on a C$200 bonus it is C$1,000. Whatever the reels do beyond that line is removed.

Put together, a C$50 deposit gets C$50 of bonus that needs C$2,000 of bets inside ten days at C$8 or less a spin, and can never pay out more than C$250. The 100 spins can add at most C$160, and that C$160 then needs C$5,600 of play at 35x. Those are the real figures. The 400% on the banner is not.

Reloads and cashback

Daily cashback is the thing to stay for: 10% to 35% depending on VIP level, paid in real cash with no wagering. Skip the welcome if C$40 is more than you wanted to start with, if a C$250 win cap on a C$50 deposit feels pointless, or if you like C$10 spins. You can still take the 33 free spins and the cashback without touching the match.

The catch

The 5x win cap. Most sites hide their caps; SpinMills prints one that is low enough to change how you should play.
