Three sites built around a wallet, one with a 10% crypto boost, and two sister sites with USDT welcome packs. What you give up when you go crypto-only.
Crypto at a casino means one thing for a Canadian player: no Interac, no card, and no CAD balance. You buy coins somewhere else, send them to a deposit address, and your balance is in USDT or BTC or whatever you sent. The sites in this guide handle that in three different ways, and the differences matter more than the welcome bonus does.
The crypto-first three
Stake is a wallet with a casino attached. When we looked, 27,975 people were in the casino and 16,959 on sports, the live bet feed was showing CA$ amounts including a CA$56,016.81 payout on Crash, and the whole interface was in Canadian dollars. That is display only. Our balance was USDT, shown at 1 USDT = $1.00. The Vault is a real feature, not marketing: a separate pot inside your account you move funds into so they are not sitting in the playable balance. It is the one thing on Stake we would call a responsible gambling tool. There is no welcome bonus. What you get instead is Rakeback, a daily Reload with a countdown, a Weekly Boost with streak tracking (three weeks when we captured it), a monthly bonus by e-mail, a $100k Race and a $75k Weekly Raffle. Licence is Curacao, Medium Rare N.V., registration 145353.
BC.Game claims 172 cryptocurrencies and the wallet page backs it up: BCD, BC, USDT, ETH, BTC, TRX, BNB, LTC, XRP, USDC, DOGE, SOL, XLM, MATIC, LINK, DOT, BCH, ADA, SHIB, TON, XMR, and a long tail. The wallet also has a cash section, which on our screen showed PLN, plus Buy Crypto, Swap and a Vault Pro. Deposits and withdrawals are listed as zero-fee. The casino is provably fair for the BC Originals (Crash, Limbo, Keno, Mines, Plinko, Hilo, Dice, Wheel and more; Crash had 2,127 players online). No welcome bonus is printed. The Rewards Hub does the work: Instant $BC, Deposit Rakeback, Level Up, Daily, Weekly (Fridays UTC) and Monthly (15th UTC) bonuses. The app pays up to $100 cashback once, scaled by VIP level. We could not find a licence number on the pages we saw, which is a gap for a site this size.
Whale.io is the only one of the three that is crypto-only in the strict sense: USDT, other coins, a Buy Crypto button, and GRAM at 1 GRAM = 1.4 USD. The welcome bonus is 200% on the first deposit; no cap or wagering was printed on the card we saw, so read the terms before sending anything. Whale's hook is lootboxes with physical prizes ($KINGY Swag $1.50, Whale Swag $6.99, a $150,000 Super Car box) that you can sell back. Licence is Anjouan, ALSI-202503012-FI1, operator Whale Operations Ltd in the Seychelles. Anjouan is a light-touch licence. If there is a dispute you write to [email protected] and hope.

FairPari has a standing 10% Crypto Boost: deposit in cryptocurrency, get 10% on top. It is a CAD site (welcome package up to C$2,387.65 plus 150 free spins, chosen at registration against a sports pack of 100% up to C$159.18), so expect the balance to show in CAD after the coins land. Crypto is also the only payment method the site shows before sign-up. Licence is Curacao GCB, OGL/2024/1143/0865.
Malina Casino and MyEmpire run the same package: 100% up to $750 plus 200 free spins if you deposit in fiat, or 200% up to 3,000 USDT if your first casino deposit is crypto. The sports version is 100% up to $150 fiat or 100% up to 200 USDT. Both also run a Crypto Weekly Reload at 60% up to 1,000 USDT and a Weekend Crypto Reload at 75% up to 750 USDT plus 100 free spins. Neon54 and RTbet are the same family and the same $750 plus 200 FS, but the pages we saw showed no crypto welcome at those two. Do not assume it is there. All four quote in USD; none lists CAD.
At Red Dog and Slots Empire crypto is a bonus multiplier rather than a lifestyle. Red Dog's DOGGYCOINS code pays 150% on $20+ crypto, 160% on $50+, 170% on $80+ and 180% on $120+, twice a day, 35x wagering, no max cash out. Slots Empire adds 20% to its TOTALWAR package for crypto deposits. Both take Bitcoin from $20 and USDT from $40, and Slots Empire says USDT credits in up to 15 minutes.
Fees, confirmations and the thing nobody tells you
The casino may say zero fee. The network does not. A Bitcoin transfer costs whatever the chain charges that hour, an Ethereum transfer costs gas, and USDT on ERC20 costs more than USDT on TRC20. SpinMills lists both ERC20 and TRC20 for USDT; Red Dog lists USDT as ERC20 only. Pick the cheap rail where you can.
Confirmations are the wait. Bitcoin deposits usually need a few blocks, which can be ten minutes or an hour. Withdrawals have the casino's review on top: Red Dog says 1 to 3 business days for Bitcoin, Slots Empire says the same for Bitcoin and USDT and quotes 24 to 48 hours as typical. "Instant" in a crypto casino's marketing means instant after the human has looked at it.
The thing nobody tells you: your balance moves with the coin. Deposit 0.001 BTC, play even, and if Bitcoin drops 8% overnight you lost 8% without spinning. USDT avoids that. Stake shows USDT at exactly $1.00 for a reason.
What crypto-only costs a Canadian
Interac is not on any of these three cashiers, and nothing about a crypto wallet suggests it will appear after sign-up. If Interac is your thing, go to the Interac page.
No CAD balance. Stake and BC.Game display CA$ amounts, but the money underneath is a coin.
Buying the coin is on you. The Buy Crypto buttons at BC.Game and Whale.io hand you to a third party that takes a card and its own fee.
Tax paperwork. Converting coins has capital gains implications in Canada that a card deposit never had. Not our area; ask someone whose area it is.
If you have to buy the coin first, the bonus is paying for the exchange fee.
QUESTIONS
Questions and answers
Short and specific.
01Does Stake have a welcome bonus?
No. Stake runs Rakeback, a daily Reload, a Weekly Boost with streak tracking and a monthly bonus by e-mail, plus the $100k Race and $75k Weekly Raffle. The VIP ladder (Platinum IV to VI, Diamond I to V) is where the bigger perks sit.
02Can I play in Canadian dollars at a crypto casino?
You can see Canadian dollars. Stake and BC.Game display CA$ figures, but the balance is in USDT or another coin. Whale.io displays USD. None of the three holds a CAD balance.
03What is the Stake vault?
A holding area inside your Stake account. Move funds in and they are out of the playable balance until you move them back. Useful for parking a win before you talk yourself out of it.
04Which sites give a bigger bonus for crypto deposits?
Malina and MyEmpire: 200% up to 3,000 USDT on a first crypto deposit versus 100% up to $750 in fiat. FairPari adds 10% to any crypto deposit. Red Dog's crypto codes go up to 180%. Slots Empire adds 20% to its welcome package.
05Are deposits really free?
The casino side can be. BC.Game lists zero-fee deposits and withdrawals. The blockchain still charges its own fee, and USDT on ERC20 costs more to move than USDT on TRC20.
