New casinos
Most casino sites do not print how old they are. Here is what ours do print, and what a short track record should change about how you deposit.

"New casino" pages on other sites are lists of whatever launched last month with a bonus attached. We cannot write one of those honestly, because most casinos do not print a founding date and we only use what is printed. One site on our list gives a year. A few others give a licence date or a licence number that carries one. The rest say nothing about their age at all, which is itself a thing to know.
What the sites print about their age
| Casino | Founded | Licence detail printed |
|---|---|---|
| Slots Empire | 2017 (site says "running since 2017") | Anjouan (Union of Comoros), Government Notice No. 007 of 2005 |
| SpinMills | Not printed | Curacao GCB, OGL/2024/112/0974, since 08 Jul 2024, Fortuna Games N.V. |
| FairPari | Not printed | Curacao GCB, OGL/2024/1143/0865, CENTRALD B.V. |
| Whale.io | Not printed | Anjouan, ALSI-202503012-FI1, Whale Operations Ltd (Seychelles) |
| Red Dog | Not printed | Anjouan, ALSI-122310020-F16, Wonder Play Company N.V. |
| Stake | Not printed | Curacao, Medium Rare N.V., registration 145353 |
| Rolling Slots, Need for Spin, Wild Tokyo | Not printed | Curacao eGaming, Cyprus-registered operator |
| Spinlander | Not printed | Anjouan eGaming, Cyprus-registered operator |
| Malina, MyEmpire, Neon54, RTbet, BC.Game | Not printed | No licence found on the pages we saw |
So the only casino on our list with a printed age is Slots Empire, which has been running since 2017. That is not new. The nearest thing to a printed launch date anywhere else is SpinMills, whose Curacao GCB licence is dated 08 July 2024. A licence date is not a launch date, but a site cannot have been running under that licence before it. The FairPari licence number carries 2024 in it and the Whale.io number starts with 2025, which reads like an issue date; we have not confirmed that and we are not going to pretend we have.

What a new site means for your money
Three things, and none of them is the bonus.
The licence. A new site has had less time to be caught doing anything, which cuts both ways. Look at who issued the licence and what it is worth in a dispute. Curacao GCB, the regulator SpinMills and FairPari print, is the reformed version of the old Curacao system and publishes a licence register you can check. Anjouan, which Red Dog, Slots Empire, Spinlander and Whale.io print, is a light-touch licence: if the casino does not pay, there is no regulator with a complaints desk that will make it. Five sites on our list printed no licence at all on the pages we could reach, and a new site with no printed licence is the combination we would not deposit at. If you live in Ontario, none of these sites is licensed by iGaming Ontario, so they should not be advertising to you and we do not link them for Ontario players.
The payout track record. A site that has been paying people for seven years has a pile of public complaints you can read and a pattern you can judge. A site that launched last year has a thin one, and the first large win it has to pay is a test it has not sat yet. SpinMills is a fair example: a decent printed cashier, 40x wagering printed in full, Interac and Apple Pay in the list, and a track record that is simply too short to say much. We say so on its review rather than guess.
The welcome pack. New sites buy players with the headline. SpinMills' 400% up to C$3,210 over five deposits is the kind of number that gets a site onto comparison pages fast. Divide it by five deposits of C$40 or more, apply 40x wagering and a 5x win cap, and it is a normal bonus with a loud banner. New does not mean generous. It means marketing budget.
How we check a site before it goes on the list
- We open the cashier without an account and write down exactly what it prints. If it prints nothing, the review says "not listed" rather than what a forum claims.
- We find the licence number on the site and note the issuer. No number, and the review says no licence found.
- We read the bonus terms for the multiplier, the max bet and the win cap. Where the site prints them, we quote them; where it does not, we say so.
- We sign up and deposit C$30, test the live chat, and try the cashier for real. We do not fake that step and we do not do it at every site at once, so some reviews are marked thin until we have.
- We read the published complaint history on the review aggregators and quote the numbers as reported, labelled as reported.
What we do not do is rank a site higher for being new. A casino that launched this year with a huge bonus and no printed licence is below a seven-year-old site with an Anjouan licence and a $150 minimum withdrawal, because at least the second one has a history you can read. The about page explains the rating in full, and the guides index has the rest of the cashier and bonus pages.
If you want to try a new site anyway
Deposit the minimum. At SpinMills that is C$40 for a bonus. Do KYC the same day. Request a small withdrawal early, before the balance is big enough to matter, and see how long it takes and what they ask for. That one test tells you more than any review, ours included.

Questions and answers
Short and specific.
01Which casino on your list is newest?
We cannot say for certain, because only Slots Empire prints a founding year (2017). SpinMills' licence is dated 08 July 2024, which is the nearest thing to a launch date printed anywhere else on the list.
02Is a new casino riskier?
It has a shorter payout history and fewer public complaints to judge it by, so the first big win it has to pay is an untested step. The licence matters more at a new site for the same reason.
03Which sites printed no licence at all?
Malina, MyEmpire, Neon54, RTbet and BC.Game, on the pages we could reach. That does not prove they have none; it means they did not show one where we looked.
04Do new casinos give bigger bonuses?
Bigger headlines. SpinMills' 400% up to C$3,210 runs over five deposits with 40x wagering and a 5x win cap. The percentage per deposit and the terms are what you actually get, and those are ordinary.
05How do you check a new site?
Cashier without an account, licence number on the site, bonus terms as printed, a C$30 deposit and a chat test, then the public complaint history labelled as reported. Nothing is rated higher for being new.
