ToonieBet is a separate casino brand with no link to ToonieSlots. Here is what the published reviews say about it, with the numbers that do not agree.
First, the name. ToonieBet is a casino and sportsbook run by Tobix Limited. ToonieSlots is this site: a comparison site that does not run games, take deposits or have anything to do with Tobix. People land here searching for ToonieBet often enough that the honest thing is a page that answers the question they actually asked.
We have not played at ToonieBet ourselves, so this page is different from our reviews. It summarises what two published reviews printed, flags where they disagree, and links to them so you can check. When you see a number below, it is theirs, not ours.
Who runs ToonieBet and where it is licensed
The operator is Tobix Limited, registered in the Isle of Man. Casino.org says the Canadian site outside Ontario runs under a Tobique Gaming Commission licence, and that an Ontario version opened in 2024 under the AGCO. Goal.com also names the Tobique licence and the Ontario registration. That makes ToonieBet unusual: most brands Canadians compare are either Ontario-only or offshore-only, and this one is both, on different sites. If you live in Ontario, use the version registered with iGaming Ontario and check the iGO list on igamingontario.ca before you deposit.
Casino.org also reports that ToonieBet became an online casino partner of the Ottawa Senators in May 2025. A sports sponsorship is not a licence, but it does mean a known club put its name next to the brand.
The welcome bonus: two different numbers
This is where the published reviews disagree. Casino.org's banner says up to C$3,500 plus 200 bonus spins; its own bonus table says up to $6,000 plus 200 spins across four deposits of up to $1,500 each. The terms it lists: minimum deposit $30, 20x wagering on the bonus and 30x on bonus spin winnings, 10 days to finish, slots counting 100% and most other games 10%. Goal.com covers only the sports bonus: 100% up to $150 on the first deposit, 6x wagering on bonus plus deposit, minimum odds 2.00 on singles.
What to do with that: open the bonus page on the ToonieBet site the day you sign up and trust that over any review, ours included. If the casino offer is four deposits again, the arithmetic is the same as everywhere else: most people take the first step and never finish the pack.
Payments and payout times
Casino.org lists online banking, Visa, Mastercard, MuchBetter, Paysafecard, Skrill, Apple Pay and Google Pay, minimum $10 to $20, no crypto and no bank transfer, and withdrawals of up to 3 days. Goal.com lists Interac from $10 on deposits and withdrawals, says the operator aims to process withdrawals within 24 hours but may take up to 5 business days, and also says no crypto. The two lists differ on Interac, so check the cashier before you count on it.
Games, app and support
Casino.org counts 3,600+ games from 39 studios, including Pragmatic Play, Evolution and Playtech, with more than 250 live tables. It says there is no app; Goal.com says there is an iOS app and an Android APK from the website. Both report 24/7 live chat. Casino.org's cons are worth reading in full: no phone support, chat answers that were sometimes vague, many slots excluded from free spins, and no self-assessment tool on the responsible gambling page.
Is ToonieBet legit?
On paper it looks like a real operator: a named company, a Canadian First Nations licence for the rest of Canada, a separate Ontario registration and a sports sponsorship. That is more than many sites on any Canadian list can show. What we cannot tell you yet is how it pays, because we have not cashed out there. If you try it, start with a small deposit, verify your ID before you need a withdrawal, and keep screenshots of the bonus terms.
