One site on our list prints PayPal. Here is that site, why the other fourteen do not, and what to use when PayPal is not on the cashier.
We looked for PayPal on every cashier page we could open without an account. One site prints it. Red Dog Casino lists PayPal with a deposit ceiling of $9,000, sitting in the same list as Interac ($20 to $2,000), Visa and Mastercard ($30 to $1,000), Flexepin, Neosurf and a dozen cryptocurrencies. No other casino on our list shows PayPal before sign-up. Not Slots Empire, which runs on the same platform. Not SpinMills, which prints the longest payment list we have seen. Nobody.
So if PayPal is the deciding factor, Red Dog is the only place we can point to and say "it is on the cashier". Two things to know before you go. The site quotes in USD, EUR or AUD with no CAD option, so a PayPal deposit is converted and you pay the spread. And the welcome offer minimums are $10 by Neosurf, $20 by crypto, $30 by card and $40 by USDT; PayPal is not named in that list, so ask live chat whether a PayPal deposit triggers the bonus before you send one. Red Dog's licence is Anjouan, a light-touch licence, which means in a dispute you are writing to the casino and hoping. The Red Dog review has the full cashier.

PayPal chooses its gambling merchants. It works with operators that hold a licence in the market they are selling to, and it has been doing that for years. A casino licensed in Curacao or Anjouan and taking Canadian players without a Canadian licence is not that. There is no Canadian-licensed offshore casino, because the only Canadian licensing regime for private operators is iGaming Ontario, and none of the sites we list are registered there. If you live in Ontario, none of these sites is licensed by iGaming Ontario, so they should not be advertising to you and we do not link them for Ontario players.
That is why the PayPal logo on an offshore cashier is unusual, and why, when it does appear, it is often routed through a processor rather than a direct PayPal merchant account. We do not know how Red Dog's is set up. We know it is printed, with a $9,000 ceiling, and that is the limit of what we can tell you.
The other reason is practical. PayPal has a buyer-protection and chargeback culture that casinos do not love. A player who loses and disputes the payment is a headache a Curacao site does not need, so most of them do not bother.
What Canadians use instead
The honest answer is Interac, and the honest follow-up is that only two sites on our list print it: Red Dog and SpinMills. The Interac page goes through how an e-Transfer deposit works at an offshore site and why the bank's own daily limit, not the casino's, is usually the one you hit.
E-wallets are the closest thing to PayPal in how they feel. Spinlander lists Skrill and Neteller and puts them in its instant withdrawal lane after one-time KYC. SpinMills lists Skrill, Neteller, Revolut and MiFinity. MuchBetter, which gets recommended on every Canadian forum, was not printed by any site on our list before sign-up; it may be in the cashier after registration, we just did not see it. Our e-wallet page covers the bonus catch that comes with Skrill and Neteller at some sites.
Vouchers work when nothing else does. Neosurf from $10 and Flexepin from $20 to $500 at Red Dog and Slots Empire, Paysafecard at Spinlander. The bank never sees a casino. The trade-off is that you cannot withdraw to a voucher, so you need a second verified method for the payout.
Crypto is the fastest printed lane everywhere it is listed, and the one that needs the most setup. Red Dog takes nine coins from $20 and USDT from $40. Slots Empire takes four from $20 and USDT from $40. SpinMills lists BTC, ETH, LTC, Tron, USDT on two networks, Binance Pay and Bybit Pay. Stake, BC.Game and Whale.io are crypto wallets with a casino attached. If you do not already hold a coin, the crypto page explains what buying one costs.
Withdrawing to PayPal
Red Dog lists PayPal as a deposit method. Its printed withdrawal times cover Bitcoin (1 to 3 business days), credit card (3 to 4 business days) and bank wire (5 business days), with a $150 minimum and a $2,500 maximum. PayPal is not on that list. Whether a PayPal payout exists is a live chat question, and we would ask it before depositing rather than after. Same rule as everywhere: do KYC on day one, so the question of how the money comes back is the only thing left to sort out.
If a site claims PayPal and is not on our list
Check that the logo is in the cashier and not just on a landing page. Check the currency. Check that the licence number is printed somewhere, and look it up. A PayPal logo on an offshore site with no licence shown is a reason to be more careful, not less. Our payment methods page lists what every casino on the site prints, and "not listed" there means exactly that.
One cashier in fifteen prints the PayPal logo. If a second one tells you it has it, make them show you.
QUESTIONS
Questions and answers
Short and specific.
01Which online casino in Canada takes PayPal?
On our list, only Red Dog Casino, with PayPal printed as a deposit method up to $9,000. The other fourteen sites did not show PayPal before sign-up.
02Why do most offshore casinos not have PayPal?
PayPal works with operators licensed in the market they sell to. Curacao and Anjouan sites taking Canadian players without a Canadian licence do not qualify, so PayPal is rare and often routed through a processor where it does appear.
03Can I withdraw winnings to PayPal at Red Dog?
Not according to the printed list, which covers Bitcoin, credit card and bank wire. PayPal is listed for deposits. Ask live chat about payouts before you deposit.
04What is the closest alternative to PayPal?
Interac e-Transfer where it is printed (Red Dog, SpinMills), or an e-wallet such as Skrill or Neteller at Spinlander and SpinMills. Both feel like PayPal in use and the e-wallets are in Spinlander's instant withdrawal lane.
05Does a PayPal deposit get the Red Dog welcome bonus?
The bonus minimums are printed for Neosurf, crypto, card and USDT, and PayPal is not named. Confirm with support before the first deposit.
