The base game is dry. Card-value wins come often and pay back less than a bet. Three of a kind on the explorer is rare and pays well, and five explorers on a line is the base-game ceiling. Play it if you want the original book slot, you like a game you can explain in two sentences, and you accept that the return is below the newer copies.
