WHAT IT IS

Jammin' Jars in short

Jammin' Jars is the September 2018 Push Gaming cluster slot: an 8 by 8 grid of fruit, five or more touching to win, winners clear and more fruit drops in. The published RTP on the default build is 96.83%, high for a game with a 20,000x cap, and the volatility is rated high. There is no bonus buy.

Canadians search for it because of the jam jars. They are wilds with a multiplier on them that climbs every time the jar is in a win, and in free spins they stick and wander the grid, so a good round turns into three jars with big numbers crossing paths. It was the streamer game before the tumble slots took that job, and it still holds up.

HOW IT PLAYS

Base game and symbols

Five or more matching fruit touching horizontally or vertically form a cluster and pay. The cluster clears, the fruit above drops down, new fruit fills in from the top, and the grid is checked again until nothing wins. A chain of three or four clears on a mid fruit is a decent base-game result.

The jam jar is wild and scatter at once. It lands anywhere, joins any touching cluster, and carries a multiplier that goes up each time the jar is part of a win during that spin's chain. One jar in a long chain can take a small cluster to a useful number. Three jars on one screen trigger the bonus. The other base-game event is the rainbow: after a spin with no win, a rainbow can drop in at random and leave a giant fruit symbol on the grid, which joins with the matching fruit around it and makes a big cluster from nothing.

The pace is slower than the Pragmatic tumble games because the drops take longer. On C$0.40 a spin a C$30 deposit gives a proper session. Most casino bonuses cap the stake at C$5 to C$7 a spin, and with no bonus buy that is the only term that matters here.

Features

  • Cluster pays on an 8 by 8 grid, winners clear and new fruit drops in
  • Jam jar wilds carry a multiplier that climbs each time the jar is in a win
  • Free spins: 3 jars give 6 spins, the jars stick and move each spin, multipliers do not reset
  • Rainbow feature: a giant fruit symbol drops in at random after a losing spin
  • No bonus buy
THE FEATURE

Bonus round

Three jars on one spin give 6 free spins. The triggering jars stay on the grid, any new jar that lands sticks too, and the jars shift position every spin. The multipliers do not reset when a spin misses, so a jar that reached 8x on spin two is still 8x on spin six. The rounds people clip are the ones where the jars drift into the same cluster of high fruit late in the feature. Retriggers are listed in the rules.

A dead bonus is 6 spins where the three jars sit in separate corners, never join a cluster, and the multipliers stay where they started. It pays a few small clusters and the base game resumes. With no buy you cannot force another one; you wait for three jars again.

OUR TAKE

Should you play Jammin' Jars?

Play it if you want a cluster game with a high RTP, a base game that keeps moving, and a bonus where you can see exactly why you won or lost. It suits a C$30 to C$50 session and bonus wagering if the casino allows it. Skip it if you want the biggest ceiling or a bonus buy; there is no buy here and 20,000x is below the newer cluster games. Sugar Rush 1000 is the bigger-cap cluster pick, and Fruit Party is the cheaper fruit grid for a shorter session.

QUESTIONS

Jammin' Jars: questions

Short answers, no fluff.

01Does Jammin' Jars have a bonus buy?

No. The original 2018 game has no feature buy; the free spins come only from three jam jars landing on one spin. That is one reason it is allowed on more bonus offers than the newer cluster games, which usually get their buy button excluded in the terms.

02Can I play Jammin' Jars with a casino bonus in Canada?

Usually yes. It has no buy, the stake goes low, and the default RTP is 96.83%, so it is one of the better high-volatility picks for wagering. Keep the stake under the casino's cap, usually C$5 to C$7 a spin, and check the info page for the RTP build.

03How do the jam jar multipliers work?

Each jar carries a multiplier and it climbs every time the jar is part of a winning cluster. In free spins the jars stick, move each spin, and keep their multiplier even when a spin misses, so a long round with a jar that keeps hitting is where the big results come from.

RTP, max win and release date checked against casinos.com, gambling.com, slotcatalog.com in October 2026. Casinos can run a different RTP build; the game's own info page shows the one you are on.
