WHAT IT IS
Reactoonz in short
Reactoonz is Play'n GO's 7 by 7 cluster slot from October 2017, the one with the one-eyed aliens and no free spins at all. Everything happens in the base game. Winning clusters charge a meter, the meter fires features that reshuffle the grid, and when all of it is charged a large purple alien drops a 3 by 3 wild onto the board.
Canadians search for it because the published RTP is 96.51%, higher than most of what sits beside it, and because a long cascade chain here can run for a minute with wilds splitting and features stacking. The cap is 4,570x, which is modest, and the volatility is very high, which is not. A lot of spins are five aliens, one small win, done.
HOW IT PLAYS
Base game and symbols
Five or more matching aliens touching form a cluster and pay. The cluster is removed, new aliens fall in, and the grid is checked again. Flux capacitors are the wilds. Four matching aliens in a 2 by 2 square fuse into a Giantoonz, and any cluster that includes it is doubled.
Every winning symbol feeds the quantum meter on the right. Each 25 symbols queues one of four features, up to four at once: Implosion turns three to six positions into wilds and clears what is next to them, Demolition removes every copy of a one-eyed symbol, Incision drops a wild in the centre with two diagonals of one symbol through it, and Alteration turns every copy of one one-eyed symbol into another. Queued features fire when a chain ends with no win. A fifth charge calls Gargantoon, who puts a 3 by 3 wild on the grid; it splits into two 2 by 2 wilds, then nine single wilds. On a blank spin he can also drop four to eight wilds on his own.
It is slow for a cluster game because of the animations, and the balance swings hard. Most casino bonuses cap the stake at C$5 to C$7 a spin; there is no bonus buy, so the rest of the fine print rarely comes up.
Features
Cascades: winning clusters vanish and new aliens drop in
Quantum meter: every 25 winning symbols queues one of four features, up to four, the fifth charge calls Gargantoon
Implosion, Demolition, Incision and Alteration rearrange or wipe the grid
Gargantoon: a 3 by 3 wild that splits into two 2 by 2 wilds, then nine single wilds
Giantoonz: four matching aliens in a square double any cluster they join
No free spins and no bonus buy
THE FEATURE
Bonus round
There is no bonus round. What people call the bonus is a fully charged meter: Gargantoon lands, the 3 by 3 wild sits in a cluster, the cascade runs, the wild splits, and with luck two or three of the queued features fire in between while big clusters keep forming. The meter only resets when a chain ends with no more wins, so a long chain can charge it twice in one spin. That is the game's version of free spins, and a good one can pay several hundred times the stake from a single press.
A dead version is a Gargantoon that lands with the 3 by 3 wild in a corner surrounded by three different low aliens. It splits, nothing connects, the queued features fire into an empty board, and the spin ends having paid about what it cost.
OUR TAKE
Should you play Reactoonz?
Play it if you like a slot with no feature to wait for and a higher RTP than the tumble games, and you have the patience for a grid that does a lot while paying little. It suits real money at C$0.20 to C$0.50 a spin more than a bonus grind. Skip it if you want a bonus you can buy; Jammin' Jars is the other cluster game people compare it to, and Hand of Anubis is the cluster slot with a proper free spins round and a buy button.

No. There is no free spins round and no bonus buy. The features come from the quantum meter, which charges with every winning symbol in the base game, and from Gargantoon, who drops a 3 by 3 wild when the meter is fully charged. Everything the game can pay, it pays from an ordinary spin.
02Is Reactoonz good for clearing a casino bonus in Canada?
Better than most very high volatility games because the 96.51% RTP is high and there is no buy button to trip the terms. Keep the stake under the casino's cap, usually C$5 to C$7 a spin. The swings are still big, so a C$30 balance can go either way inside an hour.
03What is the max win on Reactoonz?
4,570x your stake, which is low next to the newer cluster games. It needs Gargantoon on a grid already full of high aliens with Giantoonz doubling the clusters. The number matters less than the fact that good spins here pay in the hundreds of times your stake rather than the thousands.
