WHAT IT IS
Sugar Rush 1000 in short
Sugar Rush 1000 is the 2024 upgrade to Pragmatic Play's Sugar Rush. Same 7 by 7 candy grid, same cluster wins, same idea of multiplier spots that grow where wins repeat, but the top multiplier per spot is now 1,024x and the max win is 25,000x. The base RTP on the default build is 96.53%.
Canadians search for it because of the super bonus. For 500x your stake you start free spins with multipliers already placed on the grid, 16x in the centre and smaller rings around it, and the clips of those rounds are everywhere. The ordinary game is much quieter than the clips, which is worth knowing before you deposit.
HOW IT PLAYS
Base game and symbols
Five or more matching sweets touching horizontally or vertically form a cluster and pay. The cluster vanishes, candy drops in from above, and the grid is checked again until nothing wins. Bigger clusters pay sharply more, and the grid is big enough that a 15 symbol cluster of a mid symbol is a decent base-game result.
The multiplier spots are the mechanic. When a winning symbol explodes, its position gets marked. If a later win in that same spin lands on the marked spot, a multiplier appears there, starting at 2x and doubling every time the spot wins again: 2x, 4x, 8x and so on up to 1,024x. Every cluster that touches a marked spot is multiplied. In the base game the marks clear when the spin ends, so a 4x or 8x on one tumble chain is a good spin and a 64x is rare.
It plays fast, and a 7 by 7 grid means a lot of symbols move every spin. Most casino bonuses cap the stake at C$5 to C$7 a spin and exclude both the 100x buy and the 500x super buy, so if you are wagering, the buy buttons are off limits.
Features
Tumble wins on a 7 by 7 grid
Multiplier spots: a position that wins twice starts at 2x and doubles each time, up to 1,024x
Free spins: 3 to 7 scatters give 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins; multipliers never reset
Bonus buy at 100x stake
Super bonus at 500x stake starts with multipliers already on the grid
THE FEATURE
Bonus round
Three or more scatters trigger 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins for 3 to 7 scatters, and more scatters inside the round add spins on the same scale. The change from the base game is that the marked spots and their multipliers do not reset between spins. A position that hit 8x on spin three is still 8x on spin nine, and the grid slowly fills with multiplied positions. The last few spins of a good round are where the money is.
A dead bonus is 10 spins of small clusters that never repeat on the same spot, leaving two or three 2x marks and a payout under 10x. On a 100x buy that stings, and it is the normal result far more often than the clips suggest.
OUR TAKE
Should you play Sugar Rush 1000?
Play it if you like cluster games, you have patience for a bonus that only pays late, and you are playing real money rather than bonus funds. Skip it if you want a base game with its own rewards; here the base game is a long wait for the feature. Fruit Party is the gentler Pragmatic cluster game with symbol multipliers you see every few spins, and Jammin' Jars is the other cluster slot people compare it to.

01What is the difference between Sugar Rush and Sugar Rush 1000?
The grid, clusters and multiplier spots are the same. In the 1000 version each spot can double up to 1,024x, the max win is 25,000x, and there is a 500x super bonus that starts the free spins with multipliers already placed on the grid.
02Is the super bonus worth 500x?
It is a very expensive ticket. At C$1 a spin it is C$500 for one round of free spins, and the quoted RTP of the buys is in the same band as the base game, so you are not buying an edge. Most people who buy it once do not buy it twice.
03Can I play Sugar Rush 1000 with a casino bonus in Canada?
Normally yes, with the stake capped at around C$5 to C$7 a spin and both buy options excluded while bonus money is active. Because the base game pays little without the feature, it is a slow way to clear wagering. Use it for real-money sessions instead.
