WHAT IT IS
Rise of Olympus 100 in short
Rise of Olympus 100 is the November 2022 remake of Play'n GO's Rise of Olympus, a 5 by 5 grid game where three or more matching symbols in a row or column pay, winners cascade off, and a multiplier climbs by one every cascade. In the original it stopped at 20x. Here it goes to 100x, and the cap went to 15,000x.
Canadians search for it because it is the Greek-gods game that is not Gates of Olympus, and because the free spins let you pick which god runs the round. It is slower and more deliberate than the Pragmatic game, with no bonus buy and a lot of small decisions. High volatility, not very high, so the base game is less punishing than the number on the cap suggests.
HOW IT PLAYS
Base game and symbols
Three or more matching symbols in a line, across or down, pay. They vanish, the symbols above drop, and the multiplier in the corner ticks up by 1x for each cascade that wins. In the base game it resets when the chain ends. A chain of six cascades with a decent win at the end is paid at 6x, and that is a good base-game spin.
On spins that do not win, one of the three gods can step in. Hades turns one symbol type into another to make a line. Poseidon drops one or two wilds somewhere. Zeus removes two symbol types so what is left collapses into new wins. Each of those keeps the cascade alive and the multiplier climbing. Winning god symbols also fill a meter at the side, and when it fills, all three gods act in turn in the Wrath of Olympus. Clear every symbol off the grid during that and the free spins start. Clear it any other time and you get 50x your stake times the current multiplier, which is how the top of the paytable is reached.
Spins are slow, with a lot of animation. Most casino bonuses cap the stake at C$5 to C$7 a spin. With no bonus buy, the buy-related fine print does not apply.
Features
Win multiplier rises by 1x on every cascade, up to 100x
Hand of God on non-winning spins: Hades converts a symbol type, Poseidon adds 1 or 2 wilds, Zeus removes 2 symbol types
Wrath of Olympus: fill the charge meter and all three gods act in turn
Clear the grid for 50x your stake, multiplied by the current win multiplier
Free spins: pick Hades (4), Poseidon (5) or Zeus (8), multiplier never resets
No bonus buy
THE FEATURE
Bonus round
Once the grid is cleared during the Wrath of Olympus you choose a god. Hades gives 4 spins, Poseidon 5, Zeus 8, and the chosen god's Hand of God fires on every non-winning spin instead of at random. The multiplier does not reset between spins, so it is still climbing on spin four from where spin one left it. Filling the meter again inside the round adds spins, and the meter can keep adding up to a large number of them. A clear grid inside the round with the multiplier already at 60x is the sort of spin that reaches the cap.
A dead bonus is four Hades spins where the conversions make small lines, the multiplier crawls to 7x and the grid never clears. You get a few times your stake. Zeus gives more spins but a less useful modifier, which is why people argue over the pick.
OUR TAKE
Should you play Rise of Olympus 100?
Play it if you want a grid game you can think about, with a multiplier you can watch and no buy button to tempt you, and you do not mind slow spins. It works at C$0.20 a spin on a C$30 balance, and it is a fair choice for bonus wagering if the casino allows it. Skip it if you want fast tumbles and a 500x orb; that is Gates of Olympus. Zeus vs Hades: Gods of War is the other Greek pick if you prefer lines to grids.

01Hades, Poseidon or Zeus, which free spins should I pick?
Hades gives 4 spins and the strongest modifier, converting a symbol type into another to force lines. Poseidon gives 5 with one or two wilds. Zeus gives 8 but only removes symbols. Most people take Hades for the ceiling or Zeus for the length; Poseidon is the middle road.
02Can I play Rise of Olympus 100 with a casino bonus in Canada?
Usually yes, and it is a reasonable wagering game because there is no bonus buy and the volatility is high rather than very high. Keep the stake under the casino's cap, normally C$5 to C$7 a spin, and check the paytable for the RTP build, since a 94.2% version exists.
03What changed from the original Rise of Olympus?
The multiplier cap went from 20x to 100x, the max win rose to 15,000x, and the free spins meter can add far more extra spins than before. The grid, the three gods, the Hand of God modifiers and the clear-grid rule are the same. It is the same game with a much taller ceiling.
RTP, max win and release date checked against casinos.com, playngo.com, slotcatalog.com in October 2026. Casinos can run a different RTP build; the game's own info page shows the one you are on.
