Pragmatic Play released it in 2019, two years before Gates of Olympus, and it is the template that game copied: same grid, same tumble, same bonus structure, but the multipliers only show up in free spins.

No. Rainbow bomb multipliers only appear during free spins. In the base game every win is the plain symbol value times the number of symbols, which is why the base game feels slow and the whole game is really about reaching the bonus.
