WHAT IT IS
Sweet Bonanza Candyland in short
Sweet Bonanza Candyland is the Pragmatic Play Live answer to Crazy Time, released in November 2021. A host spins a 54-segment wheel. You bet on numbers or on two bonus games, and one segment opens a round of free spins from the Sweet Bonanza slot, played live for everyone at once.
Canadians search for it because they already know the slot and want to see it on a wheel. The published RTP tops out at 96.48% and drops to 91.15% depending on where you bet. That is a wider spread than most live shows, and the low end is worse than nearly any slot you would choose on purpose.
HOW IT PLAYS
Base game and symbols
Bets go down during the timer: 1, 2, 5, 10, Candy Drop, Sweet Spins, or any mix. The wheel has two Candy Drop segments, two Sugar Bomb segments and one Sweet Spins segment; the rest are numbers that pay their face value. Sugar Bomb is not a bet you place. When the wheel lands on it, a multiplier from 2x to 10x is picked and the wheel spins again with every bet still on, and the multiplier applies to whatever comes next.
The Sugar Bomb Booster costs 25% more on your total bet and doubles the multiplier when a Sugar Bomb lands. On C$4 of bets you pay C$5. It does not make the bomb land more often.
Rounds run on a shared timer, so the studio sets the pace, not you. Many bonus terms exclude live game shows or count them at a small percentage, and the 91.15% end of the range is a good reason to keep bonus money off it anyway.
Features
Number segments 1, 2, 5 and 10 pay their face value
Sweet Spins: free spins on a 6 by 5 grid with tumbles and 2x to 100x bombs
Candy Drop: pick one of three candies for a pachinko-style drop
Sugar Bomb: a 2x to 10x multiplier, then the wheel respins with your bets
Sugar Bomb Booster: 25% more on the bet doubles the Sugar Bomb multiplier
THE FEATURE
Bonus round
Sweet Spins is the one people wait for. Everyone with a bet on it gets a run of free spins on a 6 by 5 grid: eight or more matching symbols pay, wins tumble, sugar bombs from 2x to 100x multiply the win, and three lollipops add five more spins. Candy Drop has you pick one of three candies; they fall down a pachinko-style wall and collect multipliers on the way, and the total is your prize.
A dead Sweet Spins looks the same as in the slot: a few small tumbles and a 2x bomb with nothing to multiply. With one segment out of 54, you can wait a long time to be disappointed by it.
OUR TAKE
Should you play Sweet Bonanza Candyland?
Play it if you like Sweet Bonanza and want the feature with a host and a crowd, and if you check the RTP per bet in the help screen and stay on the better spots. Skip it if you mainly want the free spins, because the slot itself gets you there at your own pace. Skip it for bonus wagering. For a live wheel with more bonus variety, Crazy Time has four bonus games against two.

The published RTP is up to 96.48%, and the range goes as low as 91.15% depending on which spots you back. The help screen inside the game lists the figure for each bet. Check it before you spread chips across the board.
02How does the Sugar Bomb work?
It is a wheel segment, not a bet. When it lands, a 2x to 10x multiplier is picked and the wheel spins again with all bets still on. The Sugar Bomb Booster costs 25% more on your bet and doubles that multiplier, but it does not change how often the bomb lands.
03Can I use a casino bonus on Candyland in Canada?
Usually not, or only at a small wagering contribution. Live game shows are a standard exclusion in bonus terms. Read the game weighting section or ask live chat first, since an excluded game can void the bonus and anything you won with it.
