Is Celsius Casino legit?

Yes. Celsius Casino is run by a registered company, holds an Anjouan licence and pays out 24/7. We rank it first on ToonieSlots, with a rating of 9.4 out of 10. We have one con against it: very large wins are paid out in weekly instalments.

Who runs it

The operator is Celsius Holdings N.V., company registration number 157856, based in Willemstad, Curaçao. That is the company your account is with and the company named in the terms. Support is at [email protected]. If you ever need to raise a problem in writing, use that address and keep the reply.

The licence

Celsius shows an Anjouan Gaming Licence on the site. Anjouan is one of the offshore licences used by casinos that take players from many countries, Canada included. Any licence's real value to you shows up when something goes wrong, so the practical advice is the same as for any offshore site: deposit amounts you are comfortable with and keep your e-mails with support.

Can Canadians play

The Celsius terms list the restricted countries as the USA, France, the Netherlands, Australia, the UK, Spain and Cyprus. Canada is not on the list, so players in the other provinces and the territories can register. Ontario is different: If you live in Ontario this site is not licensed by iGaming Ontario, so it should not be advertising to you and we do not link it for Ontario players.

The site quotes in euros. Amounts on the site are shown in euros, so a Canadian deposit gets converted by the card issuer, PayPal or the crypto exchange. The CAD amounts on this page are converted at 1.60 and move with the exchange rate.

Is it safe to deposit

The cashier lists Interac, Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Skrill, PayPal, paysafecard, SEPA, Swift and bank transfer, plus BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC, TRX, BCH, DOGE, USDT and XRP. PayPal is the detail we would point to: it is choosy about the gambling merchants it works with.

Withdrawals run 24/7 with no casino fees and a minimum of approx. C$16 (€10). Crypto withdrawals need no KYC. For fiat, Celsius asks only for an ID document, and only from a withdrawal of approx. C$1,600 (€1,000), with the check done in a few hours at most. Bank wire withdrawals are available too. More on the Celsius withdrawals page.

The one con

When a win is more than 10x your deposit, Celsius pays it out at up to approx. C$2,000 (€1,250) a week. Deposit C$100, hit C$5,000, and the money comes out over three weeks. Below 10x there is no weekly cap at all. Celsius's affiliate manager gave us the example of a €50,000 deposit (approx. C$80,000) grown to €250,000 (approx. C$400,000), 5x, withdrawn in one go. That is the only thing we mark against the site, and it slows down payment without reducing it.

The ambassador and the streamers

Celsius's ambassador is Miloš "Cobra" Janičić, a UFC fighter with a 19-3 record and all 19 wins inside the distance. A casino that puts a real, named athlete on its banners has a public reputation riding on how it treats players. Celsius also says 47+ streamers play on the site, with 15,000+ viewers a day. Those are Celsius's own figures. Streamers play in public, and a streamer who could not cash out would tend to say so on camera.

What we checked

We went through the welcome package (550% up to approx. C$3,200 plus 350 free spins over four deposits, 40x to 45x wagering, approx. C$8 max bet), the cashier list, the KYC rules, the VIP table, the games count (6,000+ slots, 800+ live tables, 200+ game shows, 160+ table games, about 70 studios including Pragmatic Play, Evolution, NetEnt, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City and Spribe), and the app setup. The withdrawal rules were confirmed to us by the Celsius affiliate manager. The prize counter showed €2,431,550 (approx. C$3.9 million) paid out in promotions on 21 October 2026.

Every page in this section covers one part in detail: the bonus, the VIP club and the rest. The full Celsius review pulls it together, and the comparison page sets Celsius next to the other sites we rank.

Our verdict

9.4 out of 10 and first on our list. A registered operator, a cashier with PayPal and crypto, light KYC, a large and well-stocked lobby and a VIP club that pays real percentages. If you plan to deposit small and swing for a 500x hit, know the 10x weekly rule before you start. Everyone else can sign up the way they would at any site and keep the usual habits: deposit what you can afford, read the bonus terms, keep your e-mails.
