Celsius Plinko

Plinko is the peg board from the TV show. A ball drops from the top, bounces off pegs and lands in a slot along the bottom, and each slot pays a multiplier. The middle slots pay small and the edges pay big. In the usual version you pick how many rows of pegs and how risky the payout table is, so a low-risk board pays often and small and a high-risk board mostly pays nothing until a ball finds the edge. Celsius Mines

Mines is a grid of tiles with bombs hidden under some of them. Every safe tile you open raises the multiplier, and you can cash out at any point. Hit a bomb and the round is lost. More bombs on the grid means a faster climb and a shorter life. The game is all about when you stop, which makes it easy to keep clicking one tile too many. Celsius Chicken

The chicken games are Mines turned sideways. A chicken crosses a road one lane at a time; each lane it survives raises the multiplier, and you can take the money after any lane. A car ends the round. Same decision as Mines (when to stop), told as a road crossing.

Dice and Wheel

Dice is one of the oldest crypto casino games. You pick a number from 0 to 100 and bet that the roll lands over or under it. The closer your target is to certain, the smaller the payout. Wheel is a spinning wheel of multiplier segments with a risk setting that changes how many segments pay. Both rounds last about a second, so they eat a balance quickly if you set them running.

Provably fair, simply

A normal online slot asks you to trust that the studio and the testing lab did their jobs. A provably fair game lets you check each round yourself. The usual method works in three pieces. Before you bet, the casino commits to a secret number (the server seed) by showing you a scrambled fingerprint of it, called a hash. You add a number of your own (the client seed). Each bet also has a counter (the nonce). The result of the round is calculated from all three.

After you are done, the casino reveals the server seed. You run it through the same hash function and see that it matches the fingerprint you were shown at the start, which proves the casino did not change it after seeing your bets. Then you can recalculate any round and get the same result the game gave you. Most players never do this. Anyone can, though, and that is what stops the casino from changing a result after the fact. Provably fair games normally show the seeds and a way to check them in a fairness panel inside the game window.

Provably fair is about whether a round was rigged after the fact. It says nothing about the house edge, which is built into the payout table like any casino game. Check the RTP in the game's info panel before you play.

Le Celsius
