A Whale at Celsius gets 9 to 10% instant rakeback, 13 to 15% weekly lossback and 9 to 10% monthly lossback, plus a daily free spins boost and a personal VIP host. That is the top of the published ladder. A Rookie, which is where everyone starts, gets 1% rakeback and 2% weekly lossback. The interesting part of the Celsius VIP club is everything in between, because most players live in the middle levels.

Every level is split into tiers I to V, which is why some cells show a range. Apprentice I and Apprentice V do not pay the same weekly lossback; the figure climbs as you move up the tiers. All six levels get access to the VIP Telegram channel and loyalty bonuses.
Rakeback and lossback, in plain terms
Rakeback is paid on your play whether you win or lose. "Instant" means it is credited as you go and you do not wait for a weekly payout. The VIP terms in your account say what base the percentage is worked out on, and that matters: rakeback on the stake is far bigger than rakeback on the house edge, so look before you compare it with another site.
Lossback only pays when you are down. It returns a share of your net losses over the period. Take a week where you deposit C$500 and finish C$400 down. At Rookie, 2% weekly lossback gives back C$8. At Banker, 7% gives C$28. At Shark, 12% gives C$48. At Whale, 15% gives C$60. The money is small at the bottom of the ladder and starts to matter around Banker.
Spread it over a month and the gap between levels gets clearer. Say you lose C$250 a week for four weeks, C$1,000 in all. At Apprentice, 3% weekly lossback returns C$7.50 a week, C$30 for the month, and if the 2% monthly figure is worked on the month's net loss it adds C$20. At Shark, 12% weekly returns C$30 a week, C$120 for the month, and 7% monthly adds C$70. Same losses, C$50 back at one level and C$190 at the other.
The monthly lossback stacks on top at every level from Apprentice up. Celsius quotes in euros and these percentages work on whatever your balance is in; any CAD example here is converted at 1.60 and moves with the exchange rate.
Where the levels change things
Rookie to Apprentice doubles the rakeback and adds monthly lossback. Bookmaker is the first level with a gift attached (birthday gifts) and jumps monthly lossback to 5%. Banker is where weekly lossback moves into high single figures and the first free spins boost appears, weekly. Shark brings a dedicated VIP host, which in practice means a named person to message instead of a general support queue, plus holiday gifts. Whale nearly doubles the rakeback again over Shark and switches the spins boost from weekly to daily.
We are not giving a points-per-dollar figure for moving up. Check the VIP page in your account after your first week of play and see which level and tier it puts you on.

Above Whale sits what Celsius calls the Gentlemen's club. It comes with online and offline events, a concierge service, and a promise of anonymity: inside Celsius only your manager knows your name. That last one will mean something to high rollers who do not want their real name passed around a support team. Celsius does not publish money-back percentages for the club the way it does for the six levels.
The lossback banner
Celsius also advertises a Lossback Bonus with daily, weekly and monthly payouts. The figures we use are the VIP table above, level by level, because those are the ones your account will actually be paid on. A banner figure is a ceiling; the table tells you what your level pays.
VIP and big withdrawals
High-level players tend to run into the one rule we mark against Celsius. When a win is more than 10x the deposit, withdrawals are limited to approx. C$2,000 (€1,250) a week. Below 10x there is no weekly cap at all, which is the normal case for VIP play: Celsius's affiliate manager gave us the example of a €50,000 (approx. C$80,000) deposit grown to €250,000 (approx. C$400,000), a 5x result, withdrawn in one go. If you play big, you will usually be under 10x. The Celsius withdrawals page has two worked examples.
Is it worth chasing
Do not deposit more to reach a level. Lossback is a refund on money you have already lost, and no percentage on that table turns a losing month into a winning one. Treat it as a discount on play you were going to do anyway. Measured that way, Banker and Shark are good rates for a casino with this many games. The tournaments on our Celsius tournaments page are a separate pool of prizes on top.

TOONIE SAYS
Lossback is a discount on losing. Fine to have. Not a reason to lose more.
